Bob Vance Moulder is a Mississippian by birth, a Southerner by preference, an American by the Grace of God, a writer by temperament and a vagabond by choice.

When he is not traveling the nation's highways or tromping through the woods enjoying his passion for wildlife photography, he is probably sitting at his computer working on another book .

What Style of Writing Should You

Expect?

As you will note,  the rather large headline proclaims me to be "a Mississippi author and speaker."  That should give you a clue.  But if you still have doubts - I am a story teller.  My stories  and articles are short, easy to read - the kind some of my uncouth friends have labeled (sorry about this) "toilet articles." Not because of their content, but because of their length.   Some are truths, others are semi-truths and still others are bold-faced lies (that's called "fiction" in the publishing world.)

My Published Books

Kudzu, Homebrew and Dinner on the Ground ('04), is a compilation of stories gathered from my travels throughout much of the world - and from sitting around a pot-bellied stove as a boy during the Great Depression listening to old men who loved to spin yarns and who made no claim the stories they told were true.

My second book, Monday is a Good Day for Dreamers ('06), is an account of how I traded a plush office for a pickup  and fifth-wheel trailer  and set out alone across the country, at the youthful age of 65,   searching for "Bob," the man I lost as a youth when I accepted all the  responsibilities necessary to succeed in a hostile business environment.
